Suhr is unequivocally one of the greatest female golfers in Wisconsin high school history. While attending Case High School, Suhr won an amazing three consecutive WIAA State Golf Tournaments, the first in 1996. Only two girls have ever won more state titles than Suhr, who led the Eagles to the state team title in 1997 and third-place finish in 1998. Suhr, who was born deaf, went on to become an accomplished golfer in the Big Ten Conference. She competed three seasons at the University of Iowa she placed second in two tournaments for the Hawkeyes and posted a team-best stroke average of 78 in her junior season before completing her collegiate career at Purdue University.
